Resources

"Its not about your resources, It's about your resourcefulness"
-Tony Robbins

LGBTQ+ individuals have been historically underserved, and are too often traumatized by environments and systems that should be sources of support. These experiences are additionally compounded by intersecting identities. We know there is a great need for specific, affirming and culturally relevant outreach, support and behavioral health services for LGTBQ+ people. Envision:You understands the urgency and invites you to partner with us. Together we can eliminate behavioral health disparities for the LGBTQ+ community.

Our team can help you while you're waiting for a scheduled visit. You don't have to be in crisis. We are here for you day and night. Call the 24/7 Axis Care Line to talk about your mental health or substance use concerns. 970.465.5334.  You will be quickly connected to local services and a team will respond as soon as possible. Professional and compassionate care providers will answer your call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Pride resources and library available in shop.

The I Matter program can connect you with a therapist for up to 6 free virtual counseling sessions (some in-person appointments available, too) that are completely confidential. Talking with someone can make you feel better. To start, click on “Youth” below to take a short survey. Be as honest as possible: your answers will help match you with the right therapist.

If you’re 11 or younger, your parent or guardian must fill out the survey with you.

Ouray Public Library offers a variety of events and resources gears towards youth.

Partners of Delta, Montrose and Ouray is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building one-to-one mentoring partnerships between young people and responsible, caring adults. Youth with a mentor in the Partners programs benefit from increased self-esteem, academic improvements, pro-socio bonding. They are also less likely to become delinquent or experiment with substance use. Having a mentor opens a world of opportunities for a youth, shaping a successful future one experience at a time.  Partners serves youth ages 6 -17 that could benefit from a positive adult role model.

Ridgway Public Library offers a variety of events and resources  towards youth.

Connection starts here, created by youth, for youth.
