The H.U.B.B.
The H.U.B.B. is a teen led initiative that was created from the belief of “nothing about us without us”. Teens are invited to join to provide feedback, make requests, and be involved in planning events and programs for teens. It is a dynamic volunteer opportunity that provides a structure of support while adapting to what the teens in it value and need.
5 hours/visit
Second Chance Visits
Run through Voyager, the morning starts with a volunteer project. After a lunch break, our volunteer time shifts to focusing on spending time with the animals themselves. This enriches their time waiting while helping them become more adoptable through supported socialization, as well as marketing materials, such as photos, drawings and poems.
