Executive Director
Agnieszka Przeszlowska, PhD
Agnieszka joined Voyager as Development and Grants Manager in 2020 and was promoted to the leadership role in 2025. She is deeply committed to Voyager’s mission of connecting youth with peers, trusted adults, and their communities through enriching experiences that empower them to make positive choices on their journey to adulthood. As a leader, Agnieszka is excited to bring new opportunities to Voyager while remaining grounded in its core mission of inspiring youth to lead healthy lives.
Agnieszka earned her graduate degrees in riparian ecology from Colorado State University in 2009 and after completing a research project in the Pacific Northwest, she returned to Colorado in 2011. She and her husband settled in Ridgway where she discovered a passion for grassroots community work. She became the first Program Coordinator for the Uncompahgre Watershed Partnership, got involved with the Ridgway Community Garden and volunteers at Ridgway Schools.
Agnieszka brings 14 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, where she has built strong partnerships at the local, regional, and state levels—always with a focus on serving and uplifting the community she calls home.

Enrichment Site Director
Madison Baggett, M.Ed
Madison has been at Voyager since August 2021. Madison is our large center director and oversees our licensed child care program. Madison oversees all programming for children aged 3 - 11 and also serves as a lead teacher for our preschool program.
She has a B.A. in Psychology and Health and Exercise Science from the University of Oklahoma and a Master’s in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis on Athletic Counseling from Springfield College in Massachusetts. In March of 2020 Madison moved to Colorado and soon after started working for Treeline Education before transitioning to Voyager Youth. During her time at Treeline, Madison taught social-emotional coping skills to children through mindfulness and nature.
In her free time, Madison enjoys hiking, camping and exploring the local area!

Enrichment Program Coordinator
Michelle Melendez
Michelle serves as Voyager's program coordinator and is in charge of Ouray's after school enrichment program. She continues to connect with the community and its children. During her free time, Michelle loves to hike, camp, and explore beautiful Colorado with her family.
Michelle was born and raised in North Plainfield, New Jersey and enlisted into the Marine Corps shortly after high school in 2013. She studied telecommunications in Twenty-Nine Palms, California and was later stationed in Camp Lejuene, North Carolina, where she got married and had two wonderful children. After completing her time in the Marine Corps, Michelle and her family moved to her husband's hometown, Ridgway, Colorado. She has been working with children since the winter of 2018 as the lead attendant of the children's center at Telluride Ski School.

Teen & Community Liaison
Kayla Pratt
Originally from Vermont, Kayla transitioned to Ouray in 2019 with a B.A. in Elementary Education and a Special Education Endorsement. Her experience was with newborns through 4th grade spending most of that time teaching pre-school. She has enjoyed expanding her educational experience to include a new age bracket with the tweens/teens.
In the Spring of 2025, Kayla transitioned into a full-time position as the Teen & Community Liaison, which includes mobilizing our Communities That Care Coalition. The opportunities to collaborate with the whole community in reciprocal supportive efforts is what makes this work especially fulfilling for her. Kayla enjoys connecting people over shared interests and is grateful to be a part of such a supportive team at Voyager. She also enjoys creative endeavors, participating in book clubs, engaging with animals, and spending time outdoors.

Teen Program Assistant
Jazzmin Penaskovic
Jazzmin is our Teen Program Assistant, she co-leads summer day trips and supports overnight trips for Voyager teen programs. As an experienced River Guide, she has led boats down rivers across the country from half-day canoe trips to multi-day overnight rafting trips.
Jazzmin is originally from the coast of New Hampshire and has called the Southwest home since 2022. She has a B.S. in Park and Resource Management from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania. In her free time, Jazzmin loves boating on the river, hiking in the San Juans, and working on her juggling skills.
